Hello guys,
i was thinking to make the interface of my robotic arm with GUI Matlab. But, i really bored about 3D Matlab. I was unable to draw as close as my 5DOF arm model. Actually, i just drew it as lines (That's kinda boring, right?). Then, i searched and found out how make 3D model on GUI Matlab. I found what i was looking for. Some of people ever used Solidwork as 3D model then imported it to matlab. Wow, that was kinda cool! Luckly, i have basic of Solidwork. Well, i had no idea how importance of Solidwork until i know Matlab and Solidwork can be combined. Honestly, I learnt the basic of Solidwork from Mr.Ricky Elsion (Chief Eng of Lentera Angin Nusantara). In the beginning, i really didn't interest about Mechanical Software. Probably, i always think bad about drawing (honestly, i'm bad at drawing since a child). Don't worry, i understand plenty now. But, it can't guarantee i'm advance on it. i still need more learn.
"you're electrical engineering, but, why do you take care about another stuff actually not on your major? it's actually belong to Mechanical"
Well, i go out from my safe zone. i really interest about learning new stuff. It doesn't mean i not pay on attention about my major. ok, i think it's enough talking-talking. lets prove!
Here we go :
That picture is 3D model. Before i modified it what i wanted. Part of it you can get from someone. They share their design or model. How cool that is. Then, The next step is import it to Matlab.
This is base part :
This is 2nd part (Rotate about Z axis) :
This is 3rd part (Rotate Up and Down) :
This is 4th part :
This is 5th part :
This is last Part (The Gripper) :
How cool is that? The hardest part ist combine all of them. we have to know the origin coordinate every part of them. make sure you place it correctly. it'll be very important. if you take it wrong, it'll effect bad rotate and bad design on Matlab.
Here is the final :
See ya soon! i'll report you if i make good or bad progress.
